Hi everyone. So I think I'm ready, I've packed my bag and just rebought my travel insurance as I didn't remember to add my expensive items (an ipod from about 1985 and a camera - given my history of losing things I think it made sense), and I've packed my entire room away into a cupboard as I've rented it out for the time I'm away (and longer - if anyone has a room I can sleep in from Sep 6-13th let me know).
So I'll write again soon from somewhere more interesting than Herne Hill. More interesting than Herne Hill you say? How can this be? Will Ecuador have a 50m art deco lido? A walled garden inside a park? A farmer's market every weekend?
What I'm most excited about is the panpipe music.
